Engagement Session at Mellon Park

Jill & Garrett’s Mellon Park engagement session was the perfect evening! Jill had said that she wanted a garden backdrop, and since Hartwood was closed for renovations, Mellon was such a wonderful alternative. 

Their Love Story

Jill and Garrett met through UPJ – Greek life. They first really noticed each other when Garrett came over to speak with Jill’s sorority president. Jill was in the lobby — wearing onesie pajamas! — and yet Garrett still could not stop making eye contact with her. After Garrett left, Jill turned to her friends and told them that she was going to marry him! It’s just such a movie-like moment! That night, they talked at a part where they also shared their first kiss!

Five years later, and now here they are, playing with their dog, going on their annual vacation to the beach every year, going out to eat, and…getting married!

These two were such a joy to work with. We all were laughing and cracking jokes their entire session. I just know I’m going to love their wedding next October!
