Highline and Color Park Pittsburgh Engagement Session

Andrea and Adam’s Highline and Color Park engagement session could not have turned out more wonderfully! These two are not currently living in Pittsburgh, so they had to drive in from out of town. We were worried about the weather, but there was no chance for rescheduling so we went with it. And it turned out to be a perfect example of not always trusting what the weather is calling for! We ended up with no rain, and the perfect conditions for a stellar session. Even their pup got to make an appearance! He was so well-behaved and sweet!

These two did such a great job planning this session – from their outfits down to the location, everything was perfect. I love the sexy and industrial vibe from Highline, and then the quirky and bright pops at Color Park were so fun. Both locations showed off these two, their personalities, their fun relationship, and their impeccable style!

Their Love Story

Andrea and Adam met during their freshman year of college when they lived only one floor apart from each other. Adam says that “after what felt like forever” they finally decided to be more than friends. One of their favorite dates was traveling to Presque Isle in the winter when it was still frozen over. Andrea says, “We were dancing on the snow listening to music. The song ‘Electric Love’ was playing and that was the first time we said I love you!”

Adam proposed to Andrea during their 5-year anniversary trip to Pittsburgh. Adam had told Andrea he wanted to go up to Mount Washington to take pictures (which what “gave it away,” he says!). They enjoyed a moment together looking at the view before Adam got down on one knee to propose. Afterwards, they celebrated with Andrea’s best friend and some champagne!

This session proved to me that these two are perfect for each other!
