Jade & Jason

Jade is a local wedding planner, so I had the pleasure to work with her at Alexis and Tommy’s wedding back in 2020. Jade’s planning and details were so amazing and I was so excited when she asked me to be her photographer. You can definitely see her skills come to use in her session.

How they met

Jade and Jason met in September of 2015 when Jade interviewed for a job at The Melting Pot. Jason was the manager so he interviewed and then hired her. One night they got drinks after work, and the rest was history!

The proposal

Every year Jade and Jason go to Altius for their anniversary. At the end of dinner on their fifth anniversary, Jason got down on one knee and popped the question! They then met their closest friends waiting at Bigham Tavern to celebrate.

The engagement session

I met up with Jade and Jason on Mt Washington where we started in Emerald View Park to get the stunning city in the back. They brought wine and a charcuterie and had the cutest little picnic. Jade also brought a sign and pillows which made their pictures super personal. I love when couples bring props!

We then headed to the Overlook to catch the sun setting over the city. The lighting was perfect!

These two make such a lovely couple–their connection is so cute and genuine. I love how their pictures came out, and I cannot wait for their wedding next April!
