Faith & David: A Two Day Wedding Celebration

Day One: A Catholic Wedding at Heinz Chapel

Faith and David’s Catholic wedding at Heinz Chapel was such a joy to be a part of. Plus, not only did I get to spend one wedding day with them, but two wedding days with them! Faith and David are such a great couple. They just have that easy way about them. The day I met them, I immediately felt like we were close friends instead of just meeting for the first time.

Their two-day event started on Saturday. As Faith and her bridesmaids got ready, they donned white fur capes and flower crowns. Faith was wearing a gorgeous ballgown that sparkled from top to bottom. Truly a dress fit for a princess. Actually, they all looked like true princesses! After the girls finished, we dashed them off to Faith and David’s Catholic Ceremony at Heinze Chapel with immediate family and friends. During the ceremony, Faith was escorted down the aisle by her two grandmothers. She is super close to both of them, so this was a very special tribute to them. Father O’Connor blessed them, “Now you will know no loneliness, as each of you will be a companion to the other.”

After, we took them to do portraits at the Mellon Institute. David was looking equally dashing and like royalty with a true gentlemen’s top hat!

Day Two: A Brunch Reception at Omni William Penn

On the second day, they celebrated with all their friends and family at a non non-traditional ceremony and brunch reception at the Omni William Penn. David and Faith are big Disney fans, and their reception displayed that love beautifully. The room shined with touches of Disney – mostly Beauty and the Beast references. From the rose in the glass jar, Micki and Minnie ears, and – my favorite – the stained glass portrait that hung behind their sweetheart table.

Another big hit at the reception was their Photobooth! They had the most gorgeous red sleigh from Vintage Alley Rentals. The ballroom was also decked out with its gorgeous Christmas decor, which only highlighted the charm even more.

It was wonderful capturing their wedding video. Since then, I have became close friends with these two . They are such a remarkable couple. Faith has turned into such an amazing friend who is so kind and genuinely caring. I was so lucky to have met her and witness this beautiful day.

I can’t wait to see what is next for these two!
