These Point State Park engagements are definitely a favorite….but I might just be a little biased! That is because Alysha is my sister in law! She is my husband’s sister. It is always so special to me when I get to use my photography to bless those that mean the most to me: my family. Alysha and EJ got enaged last September as a surprise bonus birthday gift for Alysha. EJ planned the perfect birthday dinner for her with family and friends in attendance. Then he had a special dessert plate brought out to her with the words “Will you marry me?” written with chocolate glaze. A marriage proposal AND chocolate? Now THAT is the ultimate birthday present!!

These two are such a fun couple that they are even planning their wedding for 202o Halloween. I can’t wait!!

We decided to do their engagement photos at the beautiful Pittsburgh’s own Point State Park. Point State Park is at the tip of Pittsburgh’s “Golden Triangle,” and overlooks the Monongahela River. I always love shooting here because it offers so much variety!

Not only are these two planning their wedding, but they also just found out they are expecting a little girl this November ! I am so excited to be an aunt to this sweet baby! This means they will have the cutest little flower girl for their wedding!
