Jessica and Timothy’s Warrendale wedding took place at the lovely St. Richard’s Roman Catholic Church and their reception was held at The Camelot Banquet Hall. As it usually happens, their wedding day snuck up so fast! I remember speaking with Jessica over the phone back in 2017 about the big day and her expectations. Over the course of the past year, I watched her celebrating with friends at other weddings, and being reminded that her own wedding day was right around the corner!! And just like that it was here!!
Jessica and Timothy got ready at the Courtyard Marriot in Wexford, Pa. When I arrived to the girls’ room, Jessica introduced me to her VIPS: her mom, Mother-in-law, her maid of honor and big sister Megan, all of her bridesmaids, and – let’s not forget – her sweet flower girl. Luckily, IÂ had already met a few of them at our final timeline and detail meet-up. It is always so nice to meet with some VIPs before the wedding, as it gives me an opportunity to get to know my brides through her loved ones. This also told me a lot about Jessica and how important her family was to her.
As Jessica started getting her own makeup done, I started to photograph her details, while my second shooter, Jamie, grabbed some photos of the rest of the girls in the room. One of my favorite details that Jessica had with her was her veil, which is a family heirloom. Even her sister, Megan, had used it at her own wedding. I love details like this: a part of history, not only being passed down, but used on important occasions such as this! I also swooned over her classy invitations by Brooke McMillin and her splendid bouquet from Hearts and Flowers Floral Design Studio.
While I got some photos of the girls in their hoodies, I couldn’t help also taking a million photos of flower girl Emma. Jamie headed down to the Groomsmens’ room to take photos of them getting ready. Jamie would meet Timothy and his VIPs including, Best Man Charles, and Groomsmen Justin, Ethan, Bud, Jeffrey, & Seth.
When it was time for Jessica to put on her dress – a gorgeous beaded white satin A-Line gown that fit her perfectly – her mom and sister were there to help with the final touch. She found her dress, designed by Oleg Cassini, at David’s Bridal .
It was my first time photographing at St. Richard’s Roman Catholic Church, and I was super excited about how light and bright it is inside the church. It was a perfect backdrop for their vows. The reception was just as much fun as the entire rest of the day had been! They had so many special touches to their reception decor – even a Pittsburgh Cookie Table! However, one of my favorite details was that, in lieu of favors, they were donating one children’s book per guest to the Children’s Hospital in honor of a sweet baby that had passed a year previously. Details like this demonstrate Timothy and Jessica’s giving hearts and love for their family. I loved being a part of this perfect fall Warrendale wedding and just know that these two will thrive in their marriage if they continue being the wonderful people I know they are!
