Melissa and Mike’s St Peter Catholic Church and Heinz Field Pittsburgh Wedding

I just knew Melissa & Mike’s Heinz Field Pittsburgh wedding was going to be the most epic day ever. I feel like I am still coming off the high of getting to photograph these two at the PPG Paints Arena, all to ourselves!

Their wedding was a true Pittsburgh wedding, focused on all things Pittsburgh! This included a reception at Heinz Field, tons of photo opportunities all over the city, and of course — the Cookie Table!

I had a feeling I was going to get teary-eyed when I listened to these two reading their love letters to each other. Melissa and Mike are so adorable together. Every time I have the pleasure of being with them, it is clear to me how much in love they truly are.

A few of my favorite details of the day definitely included the sports tickets for table numbers. It just made for a memorable piece of their wedding for guests to take home! You also can’t miss the ice sculpture featuring the highlights of Pittsburgh: the bridges, the Point Fountain, the city skyline, and the best sports teams around.

Another favorite moment of mine was during the reception. Mike’s brother and best man, Dan, completely stole the show with his speech. He celebrated how wonderful of a fit these two are. I could tell how it important it was to him to be Mike’s best man. It was such an honor to capture such a fun, joy-filled day for these two!
