Can I get an amen for all-day bridal sessions before the wedding day??! After discussing Lauren and Jordan’s wedding day timeline, we realized we weren’t going to have a lot of spare time to capture many bridal portraits of Lauren on the day of their wedding. After this, and talking to Lauren’s aunt from the good ol’ South, she knew that a bridal session was the answer. I always love it when my brides decide to take bridal portraits before the wedding day! This allows us to spend as much time together as we need, without the pressure of a strict timeline. It also allows my brides to have more than one opportunity to wear their dress – always a win! This way, my brides can make sure they love the fit of their dress, test out their hair and makeup, and get even more excited for wedding pictures. It’s just a win all around!
For Lauren’s bridal session, we went to Mansions on Fifth in Pittsburgh. This is such a great historic venue that truly showcases beautiful Shadyside. This historic mansion is filled with original woodworking and decor, giving it such a timeless elegance. This is where Lauren and Jordan were also having their rehearsal dinner, so it just made sense to do her portraits there! Of course, we had to snag photos at the famous staircase.
