Krissi + Kevin | A Wedding at The Chadwick

Krissi and Kevin’s wedding at the Chadwick and the most beautiful ceremony at Saint Aidan Perish was well worth the wait. Like so many of my other couples, their original wedding date got pushed back thanks to covid. While safety, new regulations and rules, and a cut guest list changed many of their plans, they still truly had a beautiful wedding.

 

Their Wedding Day

Their ceremony at Saint Aidan Perish was so gorgeous. And while the church’s stained glass windows were spectacular, my favorite part was watching them watch each other. I secretly loved how much they kept looking at each other from the altar! I had a perfect spot to see their faces, and they just couldn’t keep their eyes off each other.

For portraits after the ceremony, we went to North Park and had a blast with leaves. The groomsmen ran through the leaf piles, and we tossed tons of leaves at Krissi and Kevin for some fun photos.

During the reception, Krissi’s Dad gave a welcome speech that had everyone in tears. He mentioned that having 3 daughters was the best thing that ever happened to him. He wouldn’t change it for the world, but now he finally has a son in Kevin. Another one of my favorite moments of the whole day was Krissi’s dance with her mom. This seems to be an upcoming trend that, as a mother of a little girl myself, I absolutely adore! She had a sweet father/daughter dance, but later she danced with her mom to You Are My Sunshine. I cried the whole entire time! All the feels! Especially being pregnant with my little girl at the time. Krissi was in the deepest embrace with her mom as they danced, and I know how much that moment meant to both of them.
From meeting at a Halloween Party in college to getting engaged on New Year’s Eve, these two know how to have a good time. Naturally, their reception was so fun, despite the obstacles of Covid. I’m so happy to see these two finally get married and start their lives together!
