While this was my first Rich Farms Wedding, I hope it’s not my last. I can’t wait to go back. The ceremony space was to die for, and the amount of options for photos were endless. But beyond the gorgeousness of the venue, Alexis and Tommy’s love is what really made this day so special.
While these two had originally planned to marry in May, they had to move their wedding date due to Covid (can anyone relate?!). In fact, this was their THIRD attempt at a wedding day, so I suppose it really was “third time’s a charm” for them. Alexis and Tommy have definitely been hit with all the Covid trouble, but they were so determined to be finally married.
Alexis and Tommy met and dated in high school, but ended up going their separate ways for college. Rumor has it, Tommy could never get over her. Years later, these two connected again. Tommy snagged her up as fast as he could! Now they’ve been together for 2.5 years. Every year for Christmas instead of buying gifts, Alexis and Tommy take a small trip together. Christmas 2018 they took a small trip to Toronto, Canada (Alexis’ favorite city). Tommy tricked her into thinking they were going ice skating but instead, he was just trying to get her to a pretty spot in the city, where he dropped down on one knee and completely surprised Alexis!
One of their favorite things to do together is getting take out food and watching movies together! Alexis admits that Tommy is the sweetest person she knows. He is also the “calm to her spaz,” as she puts it.
I really do believe some things are meant to be. Tommy and Alexis’ wedding turned out so beautiful, with the perfect weather and really great lighting. Tommy really had me tearing up all day. There is just something about a groom getting all emotional about getting to marry the love of his life! He definitely had me crying during their first look.
Alexis’s mother unfortunately passed away some years before, but I personally loved how they incorporated her throughout the wedding, including saving a chair for her at the ceremony. She was also gifted pictures of her mother to keep on her bouquet, as well as a painting of them together. It was all a beautiful tribute to her, and kept her close to Alexis and her family in spirit.
Tommy and Alexis are seriously some of the coolest people I know. We had so much fun together during their engagement session, that I just knew they would be hosting a good party. Plus, Alexis is such a sweetheart. She got me a cute photographers’ water bottle, and had snack bags for the whole team. The whole ride home, the team couldn’t stop talking about how amazing these two were.
