Calvary United Methodist Church and Oakmont Country Club Wedding Film

This Oakmont Country Club Wedding film was such a joy to capture and create! Raychel & Ryan are the kind of couple you can’t help but adore. Their whole day was filled with dance parties, the widest smiles, and tender, heart-filled moments. These two are high school sweethearts! Later, their love only grew stronger through the long distance college years. They have truly grown up together and into each other. All of their family mentioned how long they had all been waiting for this day to come! While Raychel grew up in a family with 3 sisters, Ryan grew up in a family with 3 brothers. Their siblings each had long ago claimed Raychel & Ryan as part of the family and they were so excited to finally have it be “official!”

I arrived at the Omni William Penn Hotel, and it was basically a party in the girl’s room! They were having a blast. Raychel had so many wonderful bridesmaids who fully supported her. I got some great footage of them jumping on the bed, opening the celebratory bottle of champagne, and just having a great time together. Raychel said she wanted her highlight film to be upbeat, and I immediately knew we were not going to have any problems with making sure their film was upbeat!

Both Ryan and Raychel had written letters to the other. They both had smiles and laughter as they read the words the other had written. The bridesmaids chanting, “Wedding, wedding, wedding!” was still playing in my ears as we all made our way to the Calvary United Methodist Church for the most important part of the day!

The church was beautiful, with these gorgeous candelabras going down the aisle. It was so sweet to see Ryan try to hold back his emotions as he saw his beautiful, long-waited-for bride walking down the aisle!

Although you might not be able to tell, it was FREEZING outside, and the couple and bridal party were such great sports handling the weather. I was totally in love with the bridesmaid’s off-the-shoulder, wine colored dresses!

Following portraits, of course it was party time! Their reception decor, held at Oakmont Country Club, was one of my favorites from last year! They had the most beautiful ivory & green decor, which was just perfect for the space. They even had a friend playing the piano for their guests. It really did add a bit of charm to the atmosphere.

Raychel & Ryan are a couple I could work for over and over. They are just a perfect example of how love should be, best friends handling obstacles and life together as one! A big thank you to all the vendors from their day!
