I was really looking forward to our family session with the Castro’s for sometime, especially since Lennie had let me in on her her little secret! Lennie had come to me before the session and filled me in on a big surprise for her husband Sal, she was having another baby!!! She was intending on telling him on his birthday that Sunday and wanted to see if I could edit a few photos that announced her pregnancy. Of course I was eager to help and she brought a sign in which we could change up if needed. When Saturday came about the weather was awful, raining all day and muddy, but we had no choice but to find a dry location since we had only one day before Sal’s Birthday. So we went to one of my favorite places to go to when its raining, the Carnegie Mellon Institute Pillars. We got beautiful shots there and you can’t even tell how soggy of a day it was. The rain even stopped for about 10 min on which we could get some classy pictures on the stairs. This family was such a pleasure to work with!! The kiddos were just so eager to be in front of the camera. Plus, the whole time I was so excited for Sal to find out about his new bundle of joy that was on the way! All in all, this is a session I will never forget. Congrats Lennie & Sal!! I am so excited for you guys!!
